“We had an amazing family holiday. The villa was bigger than expected. The photos do not do it justice. It was very private , felt very secure and in a lovely quiet road. Short walk to local bars and restaurants and we used the little bakery almost daily. We had a supermarket delivery the day we arrived which was so useful. We walked down to the vibrant marina and beach a few times took about 20-30 minutes but we found uber taxis so reliable and cheap we used them too. From the moment I booked this villa Dan was available to answer questions and changed our dates with no problem at all.the men found the golf courses amazing so us ladies were able to really relax by the lovely pool .”

It’s in a great location overlooking the Pinhal golf course & there are several restaurants & bars within easy walking distance and just a 15 minute walk to Vilamoura Marina. We made good use of the pool & hot tub, especially after a round of golf! The bedrooms were large and all have en-suite facilities Host was very helpful prior to arrival & we had a minor issue during our stay that was dealt with quickly by the managing agents. The arrival was very easy, as was the departure. “We all really enjoyed our stay in Casa Oakdene, it was located in a quiet residential area which was perfect for us. There were a few places locally to eat and a handy little supermarket for everyday bits and pieces. We ate out a couple of times at the marina but just enjoyed a very relaxed holiday. The villa itself was beautiful, all bedrooms were a good size all with en suites too. It was also brilliant for little ones with the safety fence around the pool and stair gates. Dan was very accommodating providing two travel cots and a high chair too. “The Villa was ideal for our family holiday of six adults and three children under 3. Having the stair gates and fence around the pool was an important feature for us. The Villa is very well equipped and ideally located in a quiet cul-de-sac near the beautiful old village, with good taxi links to the local area and marina. The kitchen area. is very spacious and well equipped. A floor plan would be useful to help with the holiday planning, as it is worth noting that whilst there are four bedrooms and four bathrooms, three of the bedrooms are en-suite, however the master bedroom has a separate bathroom. Communication throughout the booking process with Dan was excellent, he was very helpful and responsive. Another useful tip - we arranged a shopping delivery for the day of our arrival with Apolonia in Almancil, who were really excellent in meeting our requirements. We all had a really fabulous holiday and will look to return.”

Villa was a great location and enjoyable walk to marina, but if needed Ubers were only a 7 minute trip. “The villa was great we had the pool and hot tub included. Lots of towels provided! The pool was warm and we used it throughout our stay. Since it was January all the restaurants in old town were closed. The bar and convenience store were open. Also the little tourist train was not running but we had a rental car and used the taxi service recommended by the owner. The Marina has lots of restaurants and Quarteria beach as well. Boat tours were limited in January but we had a wonderful tour that left from the Marina. The owner has gone the extra mile to have Netflix and English Channel. The wifi is great ! Continente is a large supermarket grocery store with everything you need. Coming from Canada we are used to a gas barbeque which is not provided. However there is a large outdoor grill that takes charcoal. Everything worked heaters ovens dishwasher etc. and the owner has a top notch company looking after his property for any issues. They respond immediately. I would definitely return and recommend this as a wonderful place to stay!”

“This was our first visit to Portugal. We were pleasantly surprised how beautiful this quaint village of Vilamoura was. With this rental property just a short walk down a cobblestone road to cafes, restaurants, and a grocery store. Upon arrival to a manicured property in a quiet, safe neighborhood. This property it self was very clean, spacious and had all the amenities. With 4 couples having their own spacious bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. Beautiful backyard space over looking the golf course with a pool, hot tub and dining area which was enjoyed after a day out venturing the surrounding countryside. This area was also a short walk to a beautiful marina with plenty of restaurants, bars and shops. The owner and property management team were always very prompt with any questions or issues that may arise. We would love to return to Portugal, and would not hesitate on returning to this property. “We stayed 3 weeks in January and found the house extremely comfortable for our family. We had small children with us and the house was set up for young kids, easy access (no stairs) to the backyard, they provided a crib, high chair, baby gates on the stairs and pool safety fence. The kids loved the soccer net as well. The house was clean and very well stocked if you want to cook for yourself. We were a family with small children, but this house is also set up to accommodate a larger group and would be fun for a group of adults as well. Lots of pool loungers and wine glasses!! We would definitely recommend this property.”

“This Is a lovely 4 bed villa located in a quiet area. The villa is fully equipped with everything you would need on a self catering stay. Furnished nicely with 4 large bedrooms. Air con throughout which we needed for July. Good sized pool with garden facing onto golf course. The location is great with a short walk to the old village (5 mins) where there is a small selection of bars and restaurants which we used frequently. For more variety the Marina is superb. We ate here numerous times and agree Luna Rosa Italian is excellent. The marina is a good 20 minute walk which was fine but is a little far in the heat of the day. We used a few taxis which were quite reasonably priced. Overall would recommend this villa to anyone who likes quality accommodation in a quiet location but close to full range of amenities and activities. Only one small issue - pool seems to be missing a couple of umbrella's which would have helped find outside shade. With five people sharing 2 this was the only negative on a fantastic holiday.”
